Permissions & Global Settings

1. User access control

User access control is managed with the Jira global permission “Risk Register Access“. Only Jira users with that access can launch the app.

2. Risk access control

All risks and mitigations are Jira issues. Only users with Jira permission to view or edit those issues can view or edit the risks.

3. Global settings

• Risk Registers in Project - selected projects have a corresponding Risk Register in the Jira project view

• Issue Types with Risks - issue types supporting risk assessment

• Residual Risks - default as inherent risk or default undefined

• Risk Jira Custom Fields - create and assign editable risk custom fields to risk models

• Risk Terminology - customize UI risk labels in e.g. issue view

• Risk Register Company Help URL - additional help URL available as drop down in risk registers help icon
