1. Global settings

  • Risk Registers in Project - selected projects have a corresponding Risk Register in Jira project view

  • Issue Types with Risks - issue types supporting risk assessment

  • Auto add Risk - automatically risk assessemnt at issue create trigger

  • Residual Risks - default as inherent risk severity or default unspecified

  • Risk Terminology - customize UI risk labels in e.g. issue view

  • Risk Register Company Help URL - additional help URL available as drop down in risk registers help icon

2. Risk Register Settings

  • Disable/enable the possibility to export the Risk Register to Excel

  • Lock modifying Risk Register table columns to only Jira admins

  • Mitigations - Configure the issue types that are mitigations (linked. subtask, child issues)

  • Home - Add a link to the top risk regsiter label. This can be a link to e.g. the team home on Confluence.

3. User launch app permission

App access is managed with the Jira global permission “Risk Register Access”. For users without the permission the app is hidden.

4. Admin save settings permission

App admin permission is managed with the Jira global permission “Risk Register Admin“. Users with the permission can save app settings.

5. View risk permission

All risks and mitigation's are Jira issues. Only users with Jira permission to view or edit those issues can view or edit the risks.
