Import Risks

Quickly import both existing Jira issues and external Excel risk registers into the solution

For external risk registers with many custom fields please consider the first option “Internal - Add risk to Jira issues“ with Jira bulk import

Internal - Add risk to Jira issues

Issues selected with JQL are assigned a “Undefined“ risk.

External - Import risks from Excel Risk Register

Make sure there are no empty starting columns or rows. The Excel column headers are then parsed and mapped into four categories. Rename Excel headers to map to the desired column.

Short text	Excel header shall match custom field name

Dropdown	Excel header shall match custom field name (Jira company-managed projects)

User Columns (optional)
If a risk register is created as part of the import. Then all columns not matching above will be created as user columns in the risk register.
