First please make sure you have a Jira Cloud subscription. Then do the setup with below four steps:
Install the Jira Cloud add-on Easy Export in your Jira Cloud instance
From Word (Windows & Mac) install “Easy Export Jira Issues“ add-in from “Insert->get add-ins->store“
To enable access to Jira Issues used for exporting Jira credentials must be be set in the Word add-on.
Company Jira Cloud base url - e.g. https://bojaprod.atlassian.net
User Jira login email address - e.g tom@mycompany.com)
Jira API token - please see below steps to create an API token.
In “settings” go to “account settings”
2. Go to “Security“
3. Go to “Create and manage API tokens“ and create a token. The API token can be shared between different users. Please note that in many companies only a Jira admin can create tokens.
Both individual Jira Issues as well as JQL statement can be set. The data of those issues are used populating the Word documents.
